Finance Manager

Our client is a Multinational company with a remarkable presence worldwide and a fast growing business.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Commercial Branch based in Naples, providing financial support to the local team and to the central department, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, forecasting phases, etc.), preparation of operational data and analyses to the various constituents throughout company (Management, Sales, Operations, etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make business decisions. Primary responsibilities will include assisting the team in the identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, closure and annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of local team performance.

Key Responsibilities and activities
Operational management of the entire monthly closure of the Branch: analysis on what recorded and calculation of the target and the accruals on all the items of the P&L (incentives, SG&A, active and passive commissions, easy drive fee, OCOGS), prepare and upload all accrual requests in the accounting system.

Monthly post-closure reports with variant analysis vs forecast for all business areas (new / used / workshop / spare parts / overheads), new and used margin analysis, spare parts and workshop reporting, main KPIs.

Direct management of all activities related to the Budget / Forecast phases: analysis of historical data and identification of reference parameters for development forecasts by business areas (PO volumes, average discounts, financial income details, average margins, etc.), forecast file management, reporting with the main KPIs.

Monthly analysis of used price lists, analysis of trader packages, daily monitoring of business performance compared to forecasts: new, used, workshop.

Finance reference / local interface on all aspects concerning the Branch: credit management, possible audits, administrative problems also related to customer or supplier complaints.

Responsible for 2 local resources: a cashier and a junior controller (who mainly follows the new cars incentives).

Finance manager for the Branch of the accounting and physical reconciliation on all annual inventory activities (new / used / spare parts).

Management and coordination of local relations with the Bank, payment, all bank transfers and any other banking operations by signing the appropriate documents.

Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and in line with group Procedures standard requirements on all business areas (new / used / workshop / spare parts).

Technical Skills
Graduate in Economics, Business or Engineering.

Finance background in commercial area (automotive / truck business preferred) with a strong experience in commercial controlling (accounting, treasury and taxes are additional competences).

Capable of dealing with HQ of complex multinational organization.

Capable of dealing with tough deadline and pressures.

Italian mother tongue and advanced level in English.

Soft skills
Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, anticipate impacts of workload/ issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.

Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines.

Strong business acumen and proven leadership abilities engaging with individuals at all levels and across various regions of the organization.

Strong communication and facilitation skills to understand and address issues across multiple disciplines.

Professional demeanor and behavior combined with a proactive and driven approach.

The ideal candidate is a talented, charismatic and self-confident graduated manager who has matured +7 years’ experience as commercial controller/finance manager, preferably at service or commercial companies.
