Operations Manager NPL

Our client, BEST Italia Srl, is the subsidiary company of BEST SA, one of the largest businesses in the debt collection industry in Poland. BEST SA was established in 1994 and quickly became a market leader.
In 1997 debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Currently the Company hires over 600 employees.
BEST Group actively invests in non-performing debt portfolios.
The Company has also extensive experience in debt collection services for third parties, including: banks, borrowing companies, telecommunication operators, power companies, and other mass service providers.

Due to its fast growth, BEST Italia is currently looking for a Operations Manager/Director NPL.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, he/she will have responsibility of creating and implementing a collection strategy for proprietary unsecured portfolios and the management of the entire collection operational processes and procedures, both amicable and legal.

He/she will be a strong promoter of the development of operational KPIs, reporting and collection forecasts for the portfolios’ performance as well as the diligent and compliant management of internal operational teams engaging targets and reports.

The Operations Manager is expected to be a data -based decision maker and able to work according to a schedule, within budget, and with in -scope results delivery.

His/Her duties will also include continuous process improvement implementations to increase efficiency and boost the Company’s revenues; management of relationship s, agreements and reports between the company, the SPV and the Master Servicer; coordination of external servicers (phone and home collection agencies, skip tracing providers, scanning and archiving company, printing house); taking part in the implementation of an operational IT system with reference to all the above topics. Guiding, coaching and developing team members are required in this role.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years work experience in a similar role and a profound knowledge of the collection process, both amicable and legal. He/she will be proficient in analysing data to make fact-based decisions, able to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a vision of the bigger picture and being effective in managing various tasks and projects simultaneously.

Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills are necessary.

Excellent Business English is mandatory.
