Group Sales and Marketing Director - Sporting Goods

This professional challenge is studied and designed for directors or managers extremely solid in Sales & Marketing Strategies and management of complexity, ideally sports enthusiasts who really practice sport activities regularly and for all those “smart people” who are looking for a new career opportunity.

An important brand, present all over the world, with headquarters situated in the north of Italy, specifically in Lombardy. As a matter of fact, our brand is considered as one of the first international players in the design, development, production and high range sports equipment.

We are looking for a figure to entrust the Sales & Marketing Function to report directly to the CEO, with the responsibility of managing, developing and accompanying it, both in Italy and abroad, with the 360 ° management of profit & loss, of all sales channels (direct and indirect), exports, sports partnerships and brand positioning at the marketing and pricing level.

The candidate coordinates a large international working group: sales, export sales, customer service, dealers, online strategy and back office.

The ideal candidate should be able to: bring in the company, market inputs, technological trends, feedback from Key Clients; propose new product strategies and launch and positioning strategies; negotiate the main global agreements, strategic and sponsorship partnerships; suggest pricing policies and the timing of launch and innovation development.

Due to the vitality of the sector, we are looking for a professional capable of interpreting trends, with a concrete and pragmatic but energetic approach. That person should be passionate about sports and having matured at least 5-8 years at the helm of structured and multi-territorial sales & marketing teams.

It is required the provenance from sectors such as motorbike, high-end and technologically complex sporting goods, cycling, trekking, racing, or experienced because of having operated in these markets in the past in top positions reporting directly to management.

Really fluent English, seriousness, ethics and great result orientation are strongly required, in line with the values company.

This professional opportunity is preferably dedicated to sports managers.
