Our client is a Multinational company with a remarkable presence worldwide and a fast growing business.
In order to expand the structure, we are looking for a Finance Director.

He/she supports, with the active role of his Area, the growth of the company, monitors constantly the economic situation and the cash needs, evaluates economic and fiscal impact of each strategic decision. He/she is strongly focused also on the respects of all the statutory and tax obligations and compliance.

Essential functions
Responsibility for managing group reporting (accounting packages for related companies) under IFRS Group Accounting Policy.
Assuring adequate processes and polices are in place in order to report accurate financial data in timely manner.
Assuring internal controls for major finance process are implemented (process of incoming and outgoing invoicing, bank and cash receipts and payments approval).
Managing local tax risks, assuring all tax and accounting requirements are fulfilled on timely basis.
Managing liquidity of the company (assuring accurate cash flows and supporting board with financing decisions).
Responsible for contacts and cooperation with tax authorities, internal and external auditors, banks and other local institutions / chambers internal and external and statutory auditors.
Managing chart of accounts (for accounting and management purposes).
Responsible for cooperation with other companies of the Group.
Leading finance team (ca 10 persons) to assure required capabilities are in place.
Optimization of accounting systems and processes.
Responsible for preparation of local financial statements.
Preparation of ad hoc reports for HQ.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance.
8 up to 10 years of experience in similar position in multinational and structured environment.
Experience in debt collecting (mainly in securitization) would be a strong advantage.
Solid and proven knowledge of local accounting and tax environment.
Proven experience in treasury and cash management.
Proven knowledge IFRS accounting.
Management experience, leadership skills, interpersonal skills.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
English fluent.

Mobility: in the first period (1/6 months) presence in La Spezia should be granteed at least 2/3 days/week; further provision should be evaluated selon needs.
